Do you accept unsolicited manuscripts?
No, we do not accept unsolicited manuscripts.
How do I request a review copy?
Review copy requests can be sent to rick [at] turtlelightpress [dot] com with “Review Copy Request” in the subject line.
How do I write to an author?
You can send an author, artist or photographer via snail mail or e-mail care of Turtle Light Press and your correspondence will be forwarded along. Send e-mails to rick [at] turtlelightpress [dot] com with the author’s name in the subject line.
If I wish to reprint material published by Turtle Light Press, do I need to seek permission and what should I include in my permission request?
All material published by Turtle Light Press is protected under U.S. copyright law. If you wish to reproduce this material, written permission must be granted by the publisher. Please submit your permission request in writing.
Your request should be as detailed as possible. Please include the title, author, and page numbers of the excerpt you wish to use. Beginning and ending quotes or a photocopy of our material, with excerpt clearly marked, are always helpful. We also need to know where the material is to be reprinted. Include the title and publisher of the book or magazine, the publication date, print run, list price, distribution (market/countries), and any other information that would prove helpful in fulfilling your request.
Send your request via e-mail to rick [at] turtlelightpress [dot] com and include the word, “Permissions” in the subject line.
Will there be a fee for permissions?
Each request received is evaluated on an individual basis.

Does Turtle Light Press hire freelancers?
We do hire freelance designers, marketers, and administrative assistants on occasion. Interested freelance applicants should query us via e-mail at rick [at] turtlelightpress [dot] com with Freelance Inquiry in the subject line. Do not attach files or send samples until asked to do so. Telephone inquiries are not accepted.
How do I apply for an internship?
To apply for semester- or summer-long unpaid internships, query us via e-mail at rick [at] turtlelightpress [dot] com with Internship Inquiry in the subject line. Do not attach files or send samples until asked to do so. Telephone inquiries are not accepted.

Can larger prints be made?
Yes, please email or call TLP and we’ll be glad to try to accommodate your request.
Can some of the other paintings and note card images on your website be purchased as prints?
We are glad to try to accommodate your request for a special order. Please email or contact TLP with questions about specific images.
