The new Falls Church Hilton Garden Inn has selected Rick Black’s artistic photos to adorn its more than 100 guest rooms.
Black’s colorful, playful paintings of The State Theatre and Clare & Don’s Beach Shack have been reproduced in a large format for guests to enjoy. A grand opening of the hotel was held on October 8th.
“It’s a great feeling,” said Black, who has been taking photos of the city for the past couple of years. “I am compiling a portrait of the city and eventually am going to make a book.”
