The book art projects published by Turtle Light Press play with the structure of the book to create new synergies between form and content. Currently, we are featuring several projects that emerged out of a year-long celebration of Highland Park's Centennial.

INTERLOCKING CONCERTINA BOOKS

These interlocking concertina books commemorate the Centennial of the Borough of Highland Park, N.J. They contain 15 miniature photos of Raritan Avenue, including some of our favorite shots, such as the Doughboy, Cedar and Raritan Avenues, and many others.

The books are available with photos modified in sepia or psychedelic colors. The durable papers used enable this book to be freestanding on any bookshelf or table.

MINIATURE ACCORDION BOOK

This miniature accordion book is playfully based on the theme of Highland Park treats. It features images of The Corner Confectionary, Lahmaynu Bakery, From Sweets to Nuts, and Dunkin Donuts.

The book is 2" high and 17" long and is able to stand up on its own on any shelf or desktop. The book folds into the size of a matchbox and is printed on 80-pound white stock.
